ICT Reflection 2
Comparison to its initial stage now we
find lots of improvements both in the teachers and students in the usage of ICT
for our teaching and learning. Not only have the students evened the teachers
and parents learnt a lot about the importance of ICT in the 21st century.”
Practice makes a man perfect.”
While carrying out this kind of ICT
lesson we come across many obstacles. Such as the concept teaching especially
in the lower classes and another one is correction and giving feedbacks. Since
most of the students are landed in one kind of apps due to the kind of mobile
they are able to afford. Where by the teachers are compelled to make their
lessons to the simplest so that their entire mobile could support the lessons.
Throughout my ICT lessons during the pandemic,
I found the lesson was not as effective and satisfactory as face to face
teaching because of limited communication facilities. We cannot judge our
students progress with clear understanding.
In fact our royal government of Bhutan
is trying its best to give the best education to our students. Even in such
situation the least privileged students are provided with SIM as ad hoc
educational facilities. But sometimes I feel it is meaningless just provide
with SIM without the guidance and support of their teachers.
